By A neat image posted in 2019 by a pro-Tripoli militia member of what appears to be a turret from an EE-9 Cascavel armored reconnaissance vehicle that was attached to the back of a Toyota Land Cruiser.
This turret houses 90mm main gun and possibly still a coaxial machine gun.
As of 2011, at the beginning of the first Libyan Civil War, the Libyan military did possess a number of EE-9 armored reconnaissance vehicles.
This image was likely taken during the Libyan National Army offensive on Tripoli in 2019.
I’ll slowly probably get back to Libya and Lebanon posting.
These two countries have been “popularized” recently by others, so I took a break.
